I'd really like to drink hangovers past max level though, it sucks having to take a bad hangover (are hangovers permanebt?) Just because you already took the good ones.
gives you 10% transparency per stack (max stack 3?)
scuttling scotch
allows you to stick to walls or wall jump
gives 1% chance to inflict bleeding per stack (max stack 10)
Party Pooper - Upon Death allows the activation of a Final Countdown Device
Ol' Grans Favourite (Flask) - Changes the colour scheme of the game to Black and White with red as the only highlighted colour
Cotton Eyed Joe - Decreases Fire Resistance but increases melee resistance
Gold Drinker (Flask) - Increases chance of finding equipment 1 level higher than common for that Cooler Level
The Rebound - A delayed hangover, allows ONE free "Escape" from a cooler by activating this hangover which is then lost after use.
Sea gall hangover - Melee attacks have a 1% chance of stealing a food item from a hit enemy
John woohoo hangover - Airborne pistol attacks have a chance of slowing time for 5 (or appropriate) seconds.
Perhaps the player wakes up in some side room and/or closet (like the little rooms generated in the last section of the first cooler). Or, if its a more negative effect, in a regular room, and must be prepared to start running/gunning as soon as the wake-up animation finishes.
The gameplay impact (beyond the start)? The location of the actual starting room for the floor, and where the purifier spawns, is unknown.
The purifier should still spawn from the ACTUAL starting room.
Maybe a type of orbital or follower that helps you and shoots a little, or maybe a turret that you can pickup-put down
Something that can bring dead enemies back to life temporarily to help you?
(I don't know if any of these are already in the game either, I can't find a wiki).
Something that might fit the style of the game more might be bouncing bullets, so if you miss then they can bounce a couple times and potentially hit enemies.
But: A hangover that gives you a few seconds of invincibility and knockback immunity at 1hp once per cooler run, although that might work better as a buzz
