I just bought the CD version of this game as a joke in a dollar store, it was actually pretty fun for a bit, reminds me of Battlefield.

Just came across this on Steam. I bought this retail years ago. One of the best online games I'd ever played. Did everything and more than Battlefield at the time.

It's a shame it never gained much popularity.

I remember I had the demo of this game when i first got internet connection back in 2004. It was the BEST! One minute i was in a transport helicopter, heading for the enemy base, doing an open assault. The next minute I was sniping in the jungle at night with nightvision, and after that sneak into the enemy base from behind, with the help of a boat. The game felt huge, with endless possibilities. I don't think I'm ever going to feel that again :(

Last night rooting about in my ex's house down the cellar i found my original discs, but does anyone still play & if they do is it still as laggy as it used to be
Game was awesome, until BF2 stole my heart....
Funny thing was though i never found any of the retail maps that i enjoyed quite as much as the first demo map. Seem to recall the demo update wasnt as good as the original demo either....
C'mon Novalogic, get together with NWI and make Joint Operations Insurgency
