Hard cap on stats?

Hey all,

I was wondering how the stats system works. I have a Schooner which I have built with lots of speed orientated modules. However I havent noticed my speed go above 120%.

So my question would be, does my ship physical speed scale with each point of speed I add to it without bound, or does it reach a point where stat speed goes up but physical speed stays at a capped ammount.

There is a hard cap, but you won't encounter it until much later... roughly 400% Speed effectiveness if I remember correctly.
