Only certain characters have rapid-fire weapons that are used to overheat gold objects. I don't believe Duel of the Droids allows you to a use such a character in story mode.

yes it does, you need to take a simple superbattle droid, you need to assemble them with the force like the gold droid and you find them in the same kind of place, you lead them where the golden pieces are, take them with the force and shoot the pieces, it's work perfectly^^
