I was a big fan of The Force Unleashed, but the sequel is... Meh. (Spoilers Ahead)
The good parts first:
Combat is a lot faster and better, and the force usage is more "powerful". The graphics are looking really good and the CG is a lot better than it was in the first game. New enemy units and the lightsaber system of power crystal and color crystal have turned into one, also being considerably bigger than it was in the first game.
The bad parts last:
It doesn't run smoothly, 30FPS cap is there again, the story is quick and very weak, the characters feel weird too. Starkiller (or his clone)
looks like he went backwards in development, he's guided almost entirely on emotion, he doesn't care about the rebellion, he seems completely off from what he was in the first game. Juno works as a damsel in distress role, barely talks... It just felt too bizarre. The enemy units, though some are new, are very, VERY
, repetitive. An exemple is you fight a big riot shield ice-throwing droid at every turn, and when the devs got tired of it, they made a flame-throwing version designed to do the same thing with different effects and as frequently as the first one. The last level is a huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fest, an unnecessarily big fight between you and Vader across the cloning facility doing the same thing at the same platforms over and over again.
This game had a lot of potential to be great, really great. Unfortunately, it isn't.
