MoD Help
Downloaded and installed a MoD. I created a folder called 'MoD' in the Game Folder under Steam\steamapps\common\StarWarsEmpireatWar. The icon that intializes SSW.bat never works. Any tips for getting mods to work in the Steam version?

The mod I'm trying to get to work is 'Super Star Wars'

Thanks to those who help.

Thanks for the link but mods do not work still. Followed every step even removed the mod and installed a new one called 'Phoenix Rising'.

I followed the directions via their forums for the Steam version and it still doesn't work. I do not believe Set Launch Options work in Steam anymore. That's all I can figure out.

Here is a guide that will get you on the right track!

Set Launch Options still work...?
(btw... you can't use the .bat files with Steam)

Thank you [REaW]Greatsaga I figured out what happened via the guide. The self installing Phoenix Rising MoD installed under regualr game folder instead of the Corruption folder. I simply copied it under Corruption folder and saved the 64 bit patch to the data folder in Phoenix Rising folder now it works great, thanks again.

Yeah, you have to be careful with those self-installers. Phoenix Rising was an old mod I think made before Steam Gold, so they will install to the default folder if you do not specify.

Your Welcome! You should think about joining Retake Empire at War! We are a casual group trying to unite this games players in an enviroment where they can chat and have fun and schedule games, and overall just have a fun time (on your time), because we don't "require" commitment. We would love to see commitment to the group from our members, but that does not mean we require you to play at certain times and whatnot.
