Stargate empire at war.

I just downloaded Stargate empire at war V1.3, and am trying to get it to work. I copied the files to my GameData folder and tried changeing the launch path in steam (not sure if I did it right) but it still won't work. Can someone help me out here please?

Okay, first of all, they do not go into the "GameData" folder, unless you overwrite your Data folder inside it, but I assume you did not. You can find an in-depth guide to modding both Steam and Retail EaW here: http://retakeeaw.freeforums.org/how-to-install-mods-t17.html (currently only the one for Forces of Corruption is written, but it can translate to EaW easily).

In addition to that, the modpath for EaW is
sweaw MODPATH=Mods\(Mod Folder Name)

You should also think about joining Retake Empire at War, we are an open, friendly community trying to revive Multiplayer for this game back to what it used to be!

Still is not working. I took the folders from the zip, Data, Mods, and the Stargate batch file and put them in G:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\Mods\Stargate
then set my launch options to sweaw MODPATH=Mods\Stargate
It also does not work if I place them in
G:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\Mods\Stargate

You made sure that the "Data" folder went straight into "Stargate", correct?

Yup, that's exactly what was in the bar when I could see those folders and the batch.

You do know you don't need the batch file, as you cannot use it since you are modding Steam. I am almost wondering if FoC is broken somehow, did you buy it for this weekend sale? I cannot help you further atm, I actually have to go - but I can help you tomorrow.
