Hamachi
Ok so i have EAW Gold on the disc version and my friend has the steam version and i cant play multi player normal becouse gamespy got bought by EA or some error idfk Can i use hamachi with mine and a friend who has the steam version can they connect to me i know there is a console for bolth versions so could it be done?

Yes, however if you want to play FoC you would have to make your copy of FoC compatible first - if you do play FoC, do you require the Ram fix in order to even launch the game? If not, then I assume you have never installed it... which means your retail FoC would not be compatible with your friends Steam FoC. Look at this guide for further information on how to do it correctly, http://retakeeaw.freeforums.org/retail-to-steam-connectivity-fix-t5.html

But once again... IF you only want to play EaW then you are good to go.

Ok i looked at it but do i have to uninstall the game then download the patch or can i just download the patch without unistalling the game?

steam says its a DLC as a lable but its stilly
