cant get past 2nd rebel mission

Had this problem along time ago but i thought it would have been fixed by now but 99% of the time i tried to do the 2nd rebel mission where you have to have r2d2 and cp3o interact with the console at the imperial base.I do the objectives and i take r2d2 and cp3o back to the reinforcement point and the mission updates and shows the little cutscence showing them leaving but then the missions doesnt complete all the way showing im stuck on the planet stuck and doesnt take me back to the galaxy map back to continue onto the next mission,i've tried redoing the mission over and over and over agian but with no luck,is there some 3rd party patch to fix this at all?
