I don't remember these puzzles being this difficult.
I have to say, I am a LucasArts child along with Sierra. I grew up playing and loving Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island's, Day of the Tentacle, Police / Kings quests, etc. But wow I must be getting old I never remembered these puzzles being this difficult. Some I admit I had to look up where I am just scratching my head thinking how the hell would / did anyone figure that out? Back in the day there was no "google" to cheat with.

In any event, love the remakes and I wish there would be more. In the meantime I will support these Devs further and start playing The Cave tonight for sure. I hope it makes me laugh and smile as much as these games have.

If you love this stuff, support the adventure games on Project Greenlight like the Leisure Suit Larry Remake, Al Emmo and so much more. They could always use the help and keep this unique and entertaining genre alive!

The classic version I had on floppy disk had a start screen that was a board of wood with both options on it. When you chose one, a glob of green spit hit the check square. Many puzzels are alot harder and more complicated in the hard mode. Playing it in hard mode really lets you see all of the dialoge and content. Certain items are only avaliable in hard mode and I think the easy mode even misses the Guybrush hallucination where you listern to his dead parents sing.
I do wish I had the option of the easy mode though, my child is now at the age when I played it.
