Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition

Is this game worthy of adding to my Star Wars collection?
My Star Wars games collection on PC consists of KOTOR 1 & 2, Republic Commando and Battlefront 2 and was wondering if this game is worthy of being amongst those games?

Plus any other good Star Wars games suggestions would be appreciated.

Well I haven't played any of the Jedi Knight games, but I've heard they are pretty good. as for this game,I do have it on steam but I haven't played it,but I have played the console version of this game. I personally think it's a game worth experience because the interesting story line (being set between episode 3 and 4) the gameplay aspects of messing around with force powers as well as lightsaber combat, you can't go wrong with that! I've heard the PC version is better played with a controller rather then keyboard and mouse but you can always try. If you are not interested in playing with a controller but still want to play it then keep that mind.

hopefully it helps! :)

Oh DO NOT buy.
It's not a good game (crummy storyline, clunky combat controls, crappy keyboard controls, etc.)

Not to mention, it COMPLETELY contradictions SO MANY THINGS in the Star Wars story-arc between III and IV that was established by the books and comics.

The best Star Wars games are (in my opinion),
- Battlefront 1 and 2
- Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2
- Jedi Knight Series (only get Outcast and Academy if you can't get over very dated graphics)
- Republic Commando
- Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds (Star Wars plus Age of Empires II - FANTASTIC)
- Empire at War (way "newer" than Battlegrounds)
- Star Wars Episode 1: Phantom Menace (very dated, considered crappy, but it was my first game EVER and the nostalgia is STRONG AS HELL with this one).

I respectfully disagree with TheFlyingWombat about The Force Unleashed.

Contradicting books and comics is not an issue for a game that claims no connection to other works. Perhaps having read those alternative histories tainted Wombat's experience, but the story's not so bad. Only in video games is one given sooo much time to ruminate over a presented storyline, and most storylines when overanalysed come up short.

Gameplay seemed smooth for me, but I can see how it may not be intuitive at first. Once you learn how the camera and combos work and realize that combat animations sometimes cannot be interrupted just like Capcom's recent games, the game becomes responsive. It's almost like learning your force powers of observation and combat.

In the end, I suggest that this game SHOULD be part of your collection, if only because this story is supposedly canon, unlike the printed works mentioned above.

Well.. It is an issue since Star Wars is a whole. It does mess around with alot of pre existing canon. And no, those aren't alternative histories. Alternative Histories are part of the "Infinites".

Star Wars Episode 1: Phantom Menace is a absolutely horrible game but I sort of enjoyed it as well. I also liked Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi but it is not a very good fighting game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTElGKKnVIY

Maybe, but the poor quality of the port wrecks the playability of what may well be a good game.
