Star Wars - Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith

Issues playing the game (discolored graphics?)
I just purchased this game as part of the "Jedi Knight" bundle on Steam. When I booted up the game it started in windowed mode and played the opening text scroll and cut scene flawlessly.

Then when the game play started it threw me into full screen and the colors were all out of whack, it looked really goofy.

Just curious if there is a fix for this and please understand I am computer illiterate, be as simple as possible.

Thank you!

EDIT: I got it fixed. Scratch thread. :P

Please check my guide for fix discolored graphics issue. Seem you have missing .dll or something. Feeling free to ask any question if you have one.

No, Enable 3D Accelaration won't work without DDRAW.dll.

You can also click F11 to fix it. I used it when I played Jedi Knight/Dark Forces II.

Directdraw fix didn't work for me, but this did, despite increasing the brightness setting. However the skies still look like MSPaint. Any way to fix this?

You could heading to my guide then we can talk. Meanwhile. Just tell me your system specs and GPU version.

I did what you said, dropped ddraw.dll into my Sith folder in Steam, but didn't seem to do anything. Tapping F11 seemed to work, and in the second level (asteroid) the sky is now fine, though there are still some graphical glitches. My specs are: HP Pavilion p7-1254, 8 gigs ram, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 7700.

I see you forgot turned on 3D with 16 Bit resolution.

There is question you still not answer mine. What is version number of GPU driver?

Not sure what you mean by 3D with 16 bit resolution, is that an option in the game or did you mean something else? As for your question, the driver is Catalyst 13.12
