when ever i play the game after a few minates my macbook air starts overheating and i can hear the fan how do i fix this

well first i could download a programm to track you temperature. there are many free ones so you dont have to pay.

what you could do next is higher your fan speed. i assume you laptop runs at 2000 RPM so you could raise it up to 4000k or a bit higher.

Or buy a laptop cooling pad. The best ones can reduce CPU temperature by up to 10 degrees (or so I hear).

well than mine must be broken. it has 4000 rpm and my cpu temp still reaches 85 C

I would think its more of a hardware problem

85 C aint that abnormal for playing a game. it takes some processor power to make the game work. i think its still normal. cant expect 50C while playing any game to be honest
