1920x1080 Resolution Fix?
When I run the game, there is no option for a 1920x1080 resolution. When I pick the highest resolution it comes up as a small box. Any fixes or support would be great. Thanks

There is a widescreen fix available, google it. But it is optimized for up to 1440x900, so you will have to compromise. Also, it seems that there is a bug with it: when I tried it, the mouse click areas were off in respect to the on-screen buttons.

I play the game in its highest original resolution and aspect ratio (set my card to not stretch the output). I find it quite enjoyable this way.

It really bugs my eyes. Can the fix still be done with Steam?

No, Steam doesn't have a way to fix the resolution of the game. It's a fix that someone else programmed: http://www.wsgf.org/article/star-wars-knights-old-republic

This is pretty rediculous. I have little knowladge of modifying files. I wish there was a simpilar way with Steam. Thanks for the help, but I'm lost on this one.

Yep, it is ridiculous. Unfortunately Steam is only a distribution and storage program, it can't do much to keep games compatible with modern PCs. :(

Download Flawless Widescreen, worked for me.

When you download it does it fix it or do you still have to modify files?

Did you have problems with the cursor being a little off? Also did you use the same fix I tried to use and gave a link to above?

Yeah, I think I get that problem when switching resolutions in game. But if I start the game already at the 1920x1080, the cursor works fine.

this is why i reccomend the kotor collection discs if you really love kotor takes up the full screen even at a lower than native resolution and this does not happen for me with the steam copy in addition to more compaitability issues.

I've been trying to play this on my MS Surface Pro, but the screen makes it unplayable. There's an insanely thick border going around the edge regardless the resolution setting of the game or my tablet/pc. When I get it to acceptable size, the screen never centers to the middle even when I set up the option in the graphics card.

I honestly want to kick something when I think about how I've possibly wasted my money since it's a digital DL. But maybe it just wasn't meant to be on a tablet that's not an I pad. *sigh*

Flawless is Flawed for me! Cannot be bothered to work out why, WSGF mod works well!

I got it to work, but my mouse doesn't work. Does anyone know a solution to this? I can move it around just fine, but none of the clickables work.
