How to get past the sewer rancor?

yeah you can just cream that sucker with the grenades you pick up during play, he doesn't follow you when you beat it back to the hallway

I'm just starting to realize how limited the AI in this game actually is.
It's very primitive.

Slight spoilers, but mines are op. Any boss you're having trouble with, as soon as you get in the room just lay down as many mines as you can. Once the fight starts, just kite him over them and there goes most, if not all, of his hp!

just sneak past with a stealth generator, assuming you have at least one point in that skill

I remember my frist time getting to that part. I just thought that you had to try to run past it. Even when I got past it, the guards guarding the door would kill me becasue I would have low health running to the door.
