STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™

Weird Visual Glitch on Dantooine/Undercity, need fix please
Ok so, for some reason when I arrived into the undercity on Taris, there were these weird black lines that stretched across the area, and they didn't appear in any other part of Taris, but they did make the game lag quite a bit and were an overall nuisance. The same thing happened when I arrived on Dantooine, except now they aren't limited to one area of the world, they affect all areas it seems, and the extremely low frame rate makes it difficult to play the game. If anyone has a fix for this, or if you have also experienced this problem, please let me know, thank you.

I'm having the same issue, on Windows 10. Since I really want to play, I just tone down the graphics and force myself to swim through the lines right now. But of course a fix would be nice. No in- game setting seem to be able to fix it, and I've updated the game cache outside the game with no luck there either.

I actually found a solution, though i use windows 8, simply turn the grass off, that seemed to fix it, I'm sure you probably tried that already but, it's what I've been able to uncover so far as a solution to the problem

That actually worked! To be honest I didn't try anything to fix it lol. Thanks though!

There's a petition on here for an update like the one for KOTORII, hopefully that'll fix this if they do patch it

Thank you very much! It helped.
simply turn the grass off
Thank you for this quick and easy solution. Works for me as well on Windows 10 and Intel HD Graphics 4600.

Just want to pass along some info that I found out tinkering with settings.
For me, I was playing on a laptop and a few people here also mentioned they were either on laptop or Intel intergrated graphics.
If you have a laptop and can utilise a dedicated inbuilt gpu or are just using intergrated gpu on your pc and can get a gpu.
This should fix it.
For me on a laptop, going into my graphics settings and turning swkotor to run in "high performance" mode where it utilised the nvidia gpu in the laptop rather than the intergrated gpu on the CPU. The graphics issue went away, still able to use grass setting.

Hope this help people's :D
