Great writing, charming animation, awesome music and fun puzzles for the most part. I'm of the opinion that the new art style is pretty ugly and much prefer the cute pixel art and music but your eyes may have a different opinion. The updated version also has voice acting if you're illiterate.
This is a fantastic game with about 5 frustrating road blocks for those of us not used to the old school adventure games that required you to figure out weird and obscure solutions like <verb> <random item in your inventory> to progress, or pixel hunting for a stick in a screen full of stuff. These things are luckily overcome in the age of the internet with hints and guides (H apparently gives you in-game hints but I never used it so I don't know).
