Anyone know how to get this resolution for this game?

I found this solution


Open up notepad and copy all the text below into it and save it as starWarsWidescreen.reg
Double click it and it will enable 1080p (1920:1080 with black bars). It will still play all the cutscenes at the default resolution.
The values we are changing are the "DefaultHeight"=dword:00000438
"DefaultWidth"=dword:00000780 in both the opengl and direct3d options. The values for width and height are stored as hexidecimel (438 hexi=1080 and 780 hexi=1920).

But it's still 4:3 ratio need 16:9

Use the 768p one, its as close as you are going to get without any major trouble.

you dont have to place it anywhere it should be a register file so just dubbel click it :p

I had the same problem. I already manually edited the registry files, but it's still running in 4:3... dunno what the problem could be :/

Yeah, that's the solution that I already tried, and it didn't change anything. I was wondering if there was something else that I had to do to get it to work? Right now it only works if I turn all scaling off on my GPU.

For me this doesn't work.
I set the resolution to 1600x900 (that's the max. that my monitor supports) and the game still run on 1024x768 : /

i think its not possible to play this game in better res i have search in every single star wars gamer fans faq nd theres nothing we can use its a shame

Configuration Options Select 1280 x1024 in options when the game first launches. it's the highest selection i can recall this game having and i have been playing it since not long affter it's first retail Release in 2002.

I think this is working, although I'm not 100% sure. I edited the registry to 1920x1080, which as others mentioned still leaves it in 4:3 resolution with black bars. After going into nvidia control panel and setting scaling to fullscreen, it appears to be normal. The 2 round HUD elements on either side of the screen are still circles, and not stretched in to ovals.

How can we get it to be 16:9? The rgistry tweaks work but its 4:3 with these huge black bars.
