Thoughts on Classes
So i just recently got into this game thanks to my brother and I absolutely love it. So far I have played hours into the game and I beat the current content last night.

I do have a few ideas that might be cool if implemented well. First I like the different classes and their affinity trees. They add a lot of versatility to the game and the ways you can play. I'm curious if there are any plans to add different affinities to the tree or more classes with weapon focuses like axes or clubs? Maybe even adding a spear class or having more affinity options so that players go in with hopes such as "I'm going to do an Axe-Knight or Club-Mage run through this time etc.

More classes would be cool, especially one centric to overhead swung weapons like clubs and axes, like a Barbarian or Brute, maybe even a nonhuman character like an Ogre or something.


I just got an idea relating a spear weapon. It's two handed, so equipping it takes up both your melee & your ranged slot. But alongside it being usable as a melee weapon, it doubles as a ranged weapon, which can be thrown & then picked up again. If you throw it, like the boomerang, you'll auto equip the next equipped weapons you have equipped. Quick cycling through your ranged weapon slot won't equip the spear, you'd have to cycle through your melee weapons (in order to prevent an accidental unequipping of your primary melee weapon).

I actually really dig the Ogre idea. I was just thinking that Vagante needed more ogres.
