It's a very good space-flight immersive RPG sim, Elite: Frontier-like, hard, virtually infinite, commerce, fight (with wings and mercenaries too), missions, careers with different factions, it's explorative, fascinating... New generations will hate it, old players generation will love it.

Here is the fix to the "100s bugs": https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=237754342
Hehe)) - there is no tutorial in game - you just begin the story quest. Read about keys in menu.)))))))))
P.S. Save in SF like in Diablo II - you just save your ship and gear + money - every map random and change after loading. Load in SF - 1st) "Restore profile", 2) "Start game". You start on random point of system. And at last - "awful" not "aweful".
I have't this problem - using AVG anti-virus.
But was same prob with my Orcs must die 2.
Reinstall game - should fix it.
All files in Steam's downloading servers are of course checked for viruses or malicious intent within software before being released to the public.
The virus could also have infected your Steam client in general. I would suggest making sure you keep your own computer clean.
Get yourself some PROPER anti virus.
Most of these crap, free anti virus programs report false positives all the time.
i'm using a legal Norton and i've never had a single issue with it. Am i paying for it? Hell yes.
Darkstar One is the only space game in recent times that makes me want to play it.
Plus this game doesn't work fully in windows 7.I don't get any cutscenes.
Uh, this game plays exactly as Darkstar One. I have no idea why you're comparing it to X3 which is more a point and click game than a sim.
That said, you should probably wait for Star Citizen to release next year. If you don't know who's behind it, it's Chris Roberts, the guy who made Freelancer. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/
The spiritual "successor" to Freelancer is Star Citizen. Click the url i linked above in my previous reply and enjoy the read, info and images.
