This game is not even working!
Tried it few months ago, and it didn't lunch.
Yet, I tried it few minutes ago, and it still doesn't work!
Wassup with this game? It sure looks amazing, but what's the point if you cannot play it?

I just noticed that i have same problem. Wonder what has changed or something because this game was working 100% long time ago.

And the problem isn't about to get fixed!
Steam and the company itself aren't looking at the issue.

Copy the Steam.dll file from your Steam folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) and paste it in your Zombie Bowl-O-Rama folder. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Zombie Bowl-O-Rama)

Once this is done, launch Steam and play the game. (The file locations are for default installs on 64-bit versions of Windows)

Just tried that, doesn't work.

go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Zombie Bowl-O-Rama, right click, properties, compatibility and run this program in compatibility mode for windows xp sp3.

Already had that done, still not working!
I gotta say, that's one messed up game.

same problem here, I just played yesterday(even got some achievments) and now it just wont start if you click play. What is going on? I also copied my steam.dll but nothing

yeah, not working. The first time i tried starting, some bowling ball got covered by green goo, then went on to a blackscreen that needed a hard reboot.
Trying it again yields no result. Starting it shows a process for a moment in Task Manager that instantly goes away again.

Tried to copy steam.dll into Game folder. (Like, seriously, why does THIS game need that done manually?)
Tried to activate compatibility mode, and start as administrator. (Like, seriously, what is wrong with this game?)
Did not try to deactivate UAC. (Well, there's a line i won't cross. Any piece of software coded so crappy it won't work unless i do all those steps including disabling UAC is a security risk in itself in my book).

If i had not gotten it for like 50 cent in a groupees bundle i'd be majorly ♥♥♥♥ed about this.

Sorry people are having issues. Just want to say that this worked when I installed it. Windows 8.
Dozenbeer Jul 4, 2013 @ 9:05am
it also worked for me on windows 7 and then 2 days later, it doesnt even start

It's just sad that MumboJumbo isn't taking care of this thread, or neither the problem. Seems like they are just making money over a broken game, still freely published on Steam. It's quite frustrating to see that goes without any fixes.

As others have stated will not work on windows 7 64 bit I have tried moving the steam.dll and it refuses to run. I have tried making it work under windows xp and nothing. Update I stand corrected I did have to restart steam and click on the play button of steam however now its working.

At least i managed to fix launch issue. Had to remove Steams appcache folder. But now my problem is that after playing few mins, PC reboots without any warning.

ok it somehow just works for me now, I didnt do anything except just reinstalled it. This game is really fun, but its a shame that there is no more support for it
