DiRT 3 Complete Edition Crashes in macOS High Sierra

I believe this is a bug related to the newly upgraded Mac OS. I've been running it totally fine in 10.12, but in 10.13 I sometimes will get it going no problem but sometimes it will crash quit after I've chosen a singleplayer race and am waiting for the game to load up. It can also crash quit when I'm waiting for an online game to load up too. Sometimes relaunching it the second time works, but the game is incredibly laggy.

I'm running a steam-downloaded version of the latest DiRT 3 on macOS High Sierra (10.13). My computer is a MacBook Pro retina 13-inch, mid-2014. I have a 2.6G Intel Core i5 and no discrete graphics card (shows "Intel Iris 1536MB"). My memory is 8GB.

When I upgraded to 10.13, I did a fresh new install. I wiped my disk and reformatted it into APFS if that's what's tricking it up.

Hoping to still get technical help on this... DiRT 3 is the best Codemasters racing game that will still run on my measly integrated-graphics MacBook Pro...

Same issue.
Also with few other games.

10.14 does not work either at all. Only the startup window.
