We are fully focusing on pc and mac right now so we don't have plans for linux support. But we may think about it in the future.

+1 for Linux support, since game already support several platforms, why not add Linux?

Strong buy for me, as soon as you port it over to Linux.

PC means Personal Computer.

PC = GNU/Linux, Macintosh, FreeBSD, Windows, MSDOS, etc.

With a Linux release, i would buy this game. The french review made by Akwartz attracted me a lot.

This looks like a fun game, I'm definitely interested but I run Linux so I will wait for a port.

I must say that I'm a bit disappointed that Jets 'n' Guns has a Linux version, but this game doesn't. Is there any official word on why no Linux version was made and if the Linux community can do anything to influence a decision like this? (besides 'grow', which I'm sure will happen once the Steam Machines get released into the wild. "If you build it, they will come" after all)

The game might be depenent on some libaries that are only support by windows, and mac or that that it has different libaries for each version(Win and Mac).
Translation:Basically depending on the dev's tools, building matterials, they may not easily be able to create a linux version. Although you always show interest eitherway.

That is actually a very odd point you make because of 2 reasons. First off, most libraries for audio or controller input are available cross platform such as SDL2 (which you really should be using), OpenAL and FMOD. Especially when there's a Mac version of a library there's also a Linux version (because that has relatively few differences), and often there are also versions for mobile and ARM and stuff.
The second weird thing about your statement is that the devs have clearly been able in the past to deliver a cross platform game, how come they chose not to this time around? So I would very much like to know from the developers if this was a business decision, claiming it's not worth the investment, or if there was some technical or QA issue which made them not release a Linux port.

I also don't understand what you mean by this. Do you mean "as a developer"? Because that's simply not true, too many developers don't show any interest in getting their games onto Linux/SteamOS or Mac at all. In this case it's a shame since it looks like it would be a great party title for a Steam Machine with it's local co-op mode.

+!, except I put games without linux as "Not interested" so I'll probably forget if you ever do port it.
