Nice. Now my question is, can you link your steam account to gamersgate so my steam account owns it? Has anyone bought it from Gamergate and linked it to their steam account successfully?

uh, what? no matter which store or person sends you a steam key, if it's added to steam under your account, the game is permanently tied to your steam account (therefore making a 3rd party store's purchase history obsolete)

this is if gamersgate sells the steam version of course, this game comes in other forms outside of steam
