Why is there Ubisoft's logo in here?
If the game is self-published, why are there Ubisoft logos and trademarks in the game?

It wasn't self-published when it came out. I'm not sure about the case here on Steam, but Ubisoft was responsible for the publishing on Sony and Microsoft's platforms.

Ubisoft still owns Outland. Technically, we can't do an Outland 2 if they are not fine with it.
