Steam key for former buyers ?
Hello,
I bought your game on PC some time ago, will I get a Steam key when it'll be out on Steam ?

Hmmm. I haven't considered this.

You can add your existing copy as a "non-Steam game" into Steam.

Or send me your paypal address and I can refund your original purchase payment, and you can buy it through Steam.

Or...?

I don't want a refund, I'm glad I bought the game, it's really good, I'm playing it with friends all the time, please keep my money, I'm glad I helped you !

I'd love to send you a free key. But I don't want hundreds of people sending me messages saying they are in the same situation, and also want a key. So I need to make a blanket policy that applies to everyone.

The game was offered for donation previously. It's now on sale (for cheap!). I don't think I'll be able to accommodate special requests for keys to previous owners. I hope you understand. ;(

Ok, it's a shame, lots of games offers Steam key to their previous owners when they are greenlighted. But I understand. I'll probably buy the game again on Steam, someday, when it'll be on sale...

I've also bought your game for PC before on donation after seeing it on Ouya. For $2. Still feel bad for paying this low for a game from which I had lots of fun. Please, don't give me free Steam key. Frankly, I want to give you more money.

Also, it was available for free (possibly as $1 min. at some earlier point before it became free, I'm not sure about that), so technically everyone owned it. Everything paid above was basically a donation, and I don't expect anything in return for donations. So it seems fair to me that no Steam keys will be provided for previous owners. Also it'll be better version of the game as well (with lots of customization options), so you might as well to consider it a DLC to the original game.
