Delayed sound while playing
I'm a quite old-fashioned DoD-Player but haven't been playing for years. This is why I tried to improve my notebooks' performance for the game and modified the config.cfg. I got some fragments of how to modify the config (it's really hard to find reliable, if any, information about DoD 3.1 on the internet nowadays! :-( ).

The game runs quite smooth now. However there's a big issue: My ingame sound is delayed about 1.5 seconds which is really annoying and hindering, of course :)

What did I do wrong? Maybe it's a command in the config, here it comes:

Or is this problem maybe known to others as well and it's source isn't the config at all?

There does not appear to be a problem related to your sound in your config file from what I can see. Do you have the problem with any other audio sources (other games, mp3s etc etc) it sounds like an issue related to your sound/graphics card

Thanks a lot for your reply and especially checking my config :)

I didn't have the problem with any other software. However, from today I own a new computer and, well, this solves the problem, hehe.
