config.cfg not executing
Installed steam on a new computer and copied over all my old files (instead of reinstalling every game). Now when I login to DoD my name and custom config.cfg files don't execute. I try to type exec config.cfg and it doesn't work either.

When I login on my old computer everything works perfectly fine.

Any thoughts ???

Check if is in the right folder - Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\dod. Also your custom config file should be with different name (userconfig.cfg by default), not config.cfg as this is the game's config. If you want to be executed at game start, you have to have exec yourcfgname.cfg line in config.cfg

Technically, you could use "config.cfg" for your custom file. But as n[1]k* writes better to have your custom stuff in "userconfig.cfg". In the past, because DOD updates overwrite the default "config.cfg".
