Why do servers insist on playing ♥♥♥♥♥♥ maps?

Watch that, one minute of team walking out of spawn and dying.
Then the clan players complain on chat about it wtf? No wonder this server died.

Really poor server design, you enter the server, they play random ass rap music.



I feel bad for the veteran dod players for having to deal with this, I've seen many INSANE skill caps of players in DoD and wow was it an awful experience coming back to this game.


This may be a complaining thread but. . I really got to say the server
"7 nation army" was the best.

My only issue is getting TK'd on every server you play on. Must be because of the lack of colors in DoD, or the obvious new players stumbling across dod (For pc users that can't handle source games?)

I attempted to play on HAT a few times and was met by spawn killing, terrible shot reg and a few maps with flags IN spawn LOL...I asked if they wanted me to move the flag out of spawn but they ignored...I left never to return. oh well :)

Agreed with all of the above... the H.A.T. clan and server 'quality' has really went downhill within the past year or so... the server administration itself, as well as it's regular players.

Not to mention, the cheaters... which their server admins and mods don't even wanna HEAR about. On their Facebook page I even (wasted my time and) typed up a 'how to spot cheaters" sort of thing (see a copy 'n' paste of the transcript in it's entirety here -> http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SwampBuzzardsClan#announcements/detail/1639601682289413420 ).

And... I was then met with scoffs and ridicule by many (INCLUDING some of THEIR server mods), as well as being told to "GO AWAY, AND STAY OFF OF MY SERVER, YA WHINING W*ANKER!". Well, you know what? I did JUST THAT... SCREW 'EM!

On their clan's web page they call themselves an "Adult Clan"... well, the ONLY thing "adult" about them is their vulgar language and uncensored CRAP Rap music that one is FORCED to hear on their sorry-arssed server! Other than that, they are about the MOST CHILDISH bunch that I've ever seen playing any of the GoldSource games.
