i want my money back!!

Bought this game, yet there is only like 10 players in the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Gimme mah money back

Do not buy! Dev are gone, server are empty.

The dev has abandoned the game.

Another Early access bomb.

Don't get me wrong back when Burnz had passion for this game it was fun. As you can see I logged a few hours into this game. Back then I would have wrote a positive review but sadly today that is not the case. Burnz has just gave up on the development of this game.

The game is full of unfixed bugs and problems. Burnz use to talk to the community about the game and they use to fix it and update it often. Now nothing in months Burnz even disappeared for a long time. He recently posted some B.S post about not giving up and not letting the people down who have bought the game. Hog wash is what it was, it was a pathetic attempt to have new buyers see it and think it is still in development so he could squeez out a few more bucks.

So to anybody looking to buy it I would hold off and wait to see if he really does get back to work on the game. As of right now the servers are almost empty about 15 people was playing when I looked before writing this review.

If he holds to his words and gets back to work on this game and tries to turn it around my review may change. But for now I hope it serves as a warning to anybody who may be interested in this game please hold off and wait.

fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game

After attempting to play Beasts of Prey, i found that the crafting is poor, the resource gathering is basically down to luck at the start, the dinos have more attack range than sniper rifles and the sound is so poor that when you do hear a dino you dont know if it is behind you, or on the otherside of the island. I would avoid this game at all costs.
If you are looking for a Dino survival game, i would suggest Ark: Survival Evolved.

Stomping Land 2.... Game was better at launch and went down hill from there. Then was followed by many rewrites, wipes, etc and of course excuse after excuse from the Developer, who has since simply run off with the money leaving the game unplayable and is most likely playing Ark Survival Evolved now anyway.

This game should be pulled from Steam's store.

I have owned this game since the first day it came on steam, i have 300+ hours, i have tried to help burnz with his game, but he is only going to develop this game the way he sees fit, even though he says he is developing it with community involvment, thats a crock of ♥♥♥♥. Everytime a new survival game comes out burnz has to remake his game and try and mimic the success of other games in the genre.

his ideas for game mechanics are astounding, just recently he added damage over time while walking in water , like wtf??
another amazing idea he has is that he will not allow one shot head shots, so forget trying to snipe unless you have a friend with you ready to take the exact samehead shot as you. How about sneaking up on someone and shooting your shotgun point blank to the face... guess what its gonna take 4 of those shotty shots to do the trick, even if your at max range with the shotty and only one pellet hits your human target, it still only takes 4 shots!

how about rocket launchers, they only do damage to turrets,
c4 only does damage to structures, you can literally sit inside of the blast radius.

The dinosaurs have terrible ai,
the UI is horrible, even the newly designed ui,

i could go on forever about this one guys, avoid it like the plague.

Since this patch every Dinosaur in a five mile radius knows where i am as soon as i spawn and proceed to congregate around me like i'm Dr. Dolittle. Great AI too, most of the creatures run in circles around me failing to attack because they have stiff neck syndrome and cant quite get the right angle.

UPDATE 20/12/2014:
I recently re-entered the island to see if my dino friends were still behaving in strange ways. However thanks to a recent update i now spawn under the map with no weapons making it impossible for me to do the one fun thing left in the game...... blow my own brains out.

UPDATE 16/01/2015:
It would seem that all the money they have recieved from early access buyers has been spent on making a new main menu/intro to the game (and probably a vast amount of heroin). I still spawn under the map, dinosaur's still act like they are your best friend and online games are near impossible due to the sheer amount of auto-turret emplacments.

UPDATE 19/08/2016:
Beasts of prey was removed from the steam store listings. An epic saga of update dissapointment's and derpy prehistoric creatures comes to its end. If you are upset by this and still want to be ripped off for your cash then why not buy Ark: Survival Evolved!
