BloodGDX Troubleshooting & Fixes

The game closes right after I launch it.

This fix has been added to the latest version of BloodGDX, this tutorial applies to the original release of BloodGDX v0.75

1. Create a folder within your Blood directory called "bin"
   
2. Open up BloodGDX.jar with 7-zip, WinRAR, etc. (it's just a zip file)
   
3. Open up gdx-backend-lwjgl-natives.jar inside BloodGDX.jar and extract its contents into the bin folder
   
4. Create a batch file in your Blood directory with the following contents:
   
   

   @echo off
   java -Djava.library.path=bin -jar BloodGDX.jar

   
   
5. Use that batch file to launch the game

Alternatively, someone made a rar file containing my fix here.

The game's framerate is way too high, how do I enable vsync?

3. Browse to ru/m210projects/Blood/desktop
   
4. Replace the original DesktopLauncher.class with the one you just downloaded

The game freezes after I open it, but doesn't close. I also have a USB headset plugged in.

Someone with a Logitech G35 headset encountered this issue previously. The solution ended up being:

1. Unplug the headset
   
2. Launch the game
   
3. Plug the headset back in

Actually the Blood GDX already comes with the .bat file and it's possible to play with steam overlay ?

It didn't originally, a new version was uploaded that had my sound fix and vsync fix bundled. I assume it's a temporary measure until the next version is out.

It seems they disabled the "all programs" option when selecting programs to add to steam. So instead Use Bat to EXE to convert your batch file to an EXE you can add to steam.

This program also lets you add an icon to said EXE as well. Just go to the "version information" tab and select the icon you want to use. :)

Also it should be noted that depending on the need to choose the "32bit" or "64bit" "architecture setting" that corresponds to your OS when creating the EXE or said EXE will not work.

Probable because there's already a button assigned to crouch key which causes that

I couldn't find any buttons Assigned to C... yet C will not engage crouch for me... at least it wont stay crouched. It acts like i just tapped and let it go.
