Greetings Brothers!

It's been 2 weeks since the release of Space Hulk: Deathwing. We're pleased to see many of you purging hordes of Genestealers and our first priority was to eliminate any game breaking bugs, crashes and severe FPS drops preventing you from enjoying the game.

We released two hotfixes in the last 10 days and we hope many of you are now better able to enjoy the game!

That said, we’re aware that some players are experiencing occasional lobby connection errors and performance issues, and that’s our current focus as we continue to read your messages on social media.

We're currently working on further performances improvements, better controller support and other smaller additions. We aim at a third hotfix at the beginning of January before a big update later in the month.

As always, your feedback is valuable for us to resolve any technical issues as soon as possible. You can report your issues in the technical section of the official forum[forum.spacehulk-deathwing.com]. We’d also recommend consulting our Technical FAQ, Gameplay Tips and Known Issues & helpful workarounds threads.

It's good to hear this, but what about the unfinished state of the game?

By this I mean the poor UI, no VOIP, spelling mistakes ingame, and the much disliked 'progression' in MP. Not to mention things like the objectives not being visible.

It would be really good if you could address some of these issues with maybe a roadmap, as they are the reason for many negative reviews.

And any word on expanding the weapons to make MP more versatile would be welcome as well.

Glad to hear that you are working on it !
But please change the progression system, and add more weapons and enemytypes to the multyplayer. Also new levels would be nice to see, maybe a bigger one where the players can counter waves of enemys. Excuse my bad english ;)

Thanks for the info! I have been enjoying the base game SP very much, mostly for the art and attention to detail in the environment, the raw carnage of the basic combat system. I do sense already that the game was released with some technical shortcomings in the multiplayer, only 2 companions in Solo, limited weapons and save options without progress being tracked or 'progression throughout a session' to advance the player-character in MP or NG+.

I look forward to further improvement of the game. There is a really solid body of work here that deserves full realization. I am getting my money's worth so far but this game could be really significant if the technical problems and 'quality of life' issues are resolved.

This freeze in game in terrible, any time when xenos come from shadows my fps go down from 60 to 1 for 2 sec and in figth is that same every 10sec my configurate :
gtx 960
i5-3470
8gb ram
game auto set as medium but on low is this same

Thanks for the update Netheos.

Deathwing is amazing in a lot of ways, especially for a relatively small developer.

Keep pumping out those patches and updates as fast as you can.

This is a good game and it can still be something really special.

Victory does not always rest with the big guns: but, if we rest in front of them we shall be lost.

thanks for the update :) i am loving the game, it is near enough what i was hoping for, and it gets better with every update.

i am still having issues joining a game in multi-player, starts connecting and drops, or drops between missions, but i am doing good hosting a game, which has managed to be very stable for over 5 missions.

it would be great to get the flamer in multi, even if it is single squad member equiptment, and a few other additions would make it more enjoyable (carapace mounted whirlwind missile launcher and maybe grenade launcher in power fist as on the original metal terminator captain from games workshop / rogue trader box set), but all said and done, this is a freaking awesome game. thank you for giving me the game of my dreams, it has been a pleasure to clock up 50 hours on it already :)

Thank you for the response... but please don't candy coat your game as a finished product... we know it may not have been your choice but don't lead us on, we know better.

Add the rest of your weapons from Single player into the MP game, improve your connection issues, and fix the UI... the "health bar" makes no sense other then if my head turns red I am dead... otherwise I may be ok?

Multiplayer progression, only keep it if you intend to let it progress past chapters... so If I lobby ch1 and get to lvl4, let me keep it into the next chapter until I leave the lobby... dont make me start out with that stupid minigun on the assault class every game or only the first heal tier... just a bad design.

It makes me feel like each game I get no progression and if gamers feel like we get no progression, we generally don't keep playing a title after it starts to get even slightly boring.

My biggest complaint is the random 'Fatal error' in MP. Pretty much keeps me and my friends from playing it.

I appreciate the work for inproving the game, and solve unaceptable crashes and bugs.
But in only 2 weeks i´m getting bored with the game, once you played all levels a few times on sp and specially on mp (if the game don´t crash), there´s nothing more to do.
I Simply can´t recomend this game to any of my friends at this time. I expected much more endgame and replayability for the multiplayer. Cheers.
