The Doc issue

I'm having an issue with the quest "The Doc" wherein I cannot kill the target without being seen. It's absolutly pissing me off. No matter what I do, be it fists, a knife, a silenced shot to the head, I'm SOMEHOW seen by something and every cop knows exactly where I am. Anyone else?

Not like anyone will probably see this, though.

You can pay for a medicine 10, 000 eldo (if I recall correctly), or tell the doctor about the nurse (but you will loose some reputation in a town where you get this quest), or you can shift the nurse (and do her side job, just for one time) if your main character is female.

If you strongly decide to kill the doctor, this quest can be a bit of a challenge for you. After you talk to a nurse you should make a save and reenter C-C at night. First of all you should check for guards inside the hospital and before the entrance. The guard before the entrance will most likely cause the alarm after you kill the doc, so you should reload a save in this case. Be aware that if ANY of npc will see your mercs in a moment of doc's death you will trigger the alarm. Choose your most stealthy merc to do the job and give them most silenced weapon you currently have (90% is preferred), or find one. If doc faces the window you should take him down inside the hospital, otherwise make a double shot from outside (you have to brake the window). His death will case SetSilentDeathCheckForGuards script to trigger (you can see it inside console, ` key by deffault) and if you successfully pass this check you're good to go and complete the mission.

OR, if you don't mind to exploit the game engine, you can do next:
Pick your main character and any merc (close combat spec is preferred), lead them to a doctor, choose the merc and give them a knife. After that turn the PAUSE on, command the merc to stab the doctor a few times, open the MERCS tab, tell the merc "Wait here!" or "Adios cabron!" (or something like that), close the MERCS tab, turn the PAUSE off, see the job's done, take the merc back to your team. DONE!

Hm, alright, I'll try this when I get home. I've done ev erything to make sure nobody is seen hwoever, including putting them outside, laying down, at night, and having only Kelly (70something stealth) knife doc once to death.

Thank you so much, unfortunately only the exploit worked for me. The check wouldn't come up when killing, and it seems the nurse's quest doesn't quite accept. I get it as a subtask in my quest, however I can continue to ask what happened to her. Oh well. Hopefully this will help someone else one day.

I plant a couple of remote bombs in the bathroom, then use the 'left shift to move civilians' trick to shuffle him in there.
