The PC Co-op scandal ( an happy ending)

Why is the PC version the only version which does not support offline co-op (scroll down steam page description for info and fine print) .

1. Raid Mode online co-op functionality to be added at a later date.
2. The PC version does not support offline co-op play in the Campaign or Raid Mode.

Why as a paying PC customer do I get a less complete product than on any of the other platforms?
This is totally unacceptable.
Therefore I request Capcom to add this functionality in a later patch.

EDIT: To make things worse, it seems that the lack of offline co-op for PC was not originally mentionned on the store page during pre-orders and was added at the last minute in a potential attempt to deceive customers.

EDIT 2 : A lot of major gaming publications are now running the story and we have now proof that Capcom changed the description at the last minute in a probable attempt to deceive people who pre-ordered.

We are now putting pressure on Capcom for them to patch the game at their expense and bring back offline co-op for PC.

Local co-op is coming to PC.
I am glad to see that Capcom finall saw the light and eventually delivered the originally advertised product. In light of this new development, I will consider updating my original negative review.

I want to thank from the bottom of my heart each and everyone of you who supported this thread and made all this possible. It's a fine example of what consumers can accomplish when they take a stand and join forces.

Assistive co-op play – Players will need to switch between the two characters (Claire/Moira, Barry/Natalia) to overcome the nightmares in either single player mode with an AI partner or offline co-op.

I wouldnt have pre ordered if I knew that campaign mode doesnt have couch co op. I would actually just pirate the game. Too bad I already paid for it.

You can get a refund since the game's not out yet.

1 - In your Steam Client, click on your account name (In the far upper right corner to the right of the mail icon) and select 'Account Details'
2 - Click on 'Store Transactions'
3 - Your pre order should be listed in there with an option to "Refund an item."
4 - Click that, follow instructions.

No version of RE:R1 featured couch co op. RE6 featured couch co op on pc, so I dont see why only the pc version of RE:R2 should miss it.

No, read below. It clearly says the pc version is not compatible with offline multiplayer on both raid mode and campaign mode. And considering Campaign mode doesnt have online co op in ANY version, then pc campaign mode doesn't feature any form of co op at all.
