Troubles with 1366x768

I tried run this game on my notebook, select his native screen resolution - 1366x768, but image, what i see is not full, I can't see up and bottom of the picture. Have any way to solve it?

EDIT: solved. You have to play the game in different resolution - 4:3 I think.

Anyone else unable to read the text in this game? It's all broken up and illegible. Nevermind guess that was the resolution issue.

Just change screen resolution to higher.

Okay, it seems like this game doesnt have problem with resolutions, it has problem with Windows 8.
Both Xtension and Xbtf work flawlessly on Win7, but on Win8 it feels quite laggy, and I can see the window frames around the screen. I also MUST play on 4:3 otherwise the bottom and upper parts of screen cannot be seen.

Ive read somewhere that Windows 8 doesnt support some old program that Xbtf and Xt use.
Thats why it works well on win7, but doesnt at win8.

I have the same problem with screen edges both in Tension and Beyond the frontier. In BtF it was not a problem but when I am flying Buster in Tension I can't see entire speed indicator so I don't know if I don't try to dock too fast.

I've seen some people comment that they're playing 1400 x 1050 (the best 4:3 outcome I expect) but how do you get that option in game? I go from 1366 x 768 to 1600 x 900. There is no 1400 option. Using a GTX 970.
