happens whenever i try and save a game that ive been playing for more than 45 minutes. also i am unable to place either radio buildings due to a area not cleared error even though the area has nothing in it. i have started 3 new games today and have had the same result every time.

my system specs are as follows:
fx8350 @4Ghz
16 GB Ram
gtx980 ti @ 4k resolution
4 samsung 850 pros in raid 0 for system and gaming drive

OK, will look into the radio hut problem right away. For the memory crash, it may not be as easy to solve quickly. Perhaps save a bit more often, like every 15-20 mins or so.

There is a fix to the radio hut issue available now, it is called 0.8.2.1

downloaded the update. testing. is there a way to have the game autosave every 10 minutes if there is a existing savegame file? if there is no savegame file then return a answer of null? great game and absolutely love where you are going with it! it has only gotten better!

There's no autosave. It requires a lot of optimization and some multithreading to implement.

the same problem i had with radio huts also goes for every other building such as campfire, compost heap, kiln, etc. even when i have harvested everything in the area i still get the same issue.

I just wanted to state that this is still an issue, it happens in all sessions eventually for me. Game runs smoothly for anywhere between 45 mins - 1½ hour, then starts to "stutter once in a while, which becomes more and more frequent until it's like 2 secs of working, 2 secs unresponsive, 2 secs working, et cetera (and even when the game is paused and in the menu the stutter persists)

If optimazation and multi-threading is the problem (or at least the reason that autosave isn't implemented) then i really think that should be your focus right now. no matter how great this game is, no one is going to recomend it if it's and endless cycle of "play for 2 hours, stutter, crash while trying to save, save corrupt, lose all progress, start over"

Because as much as i absolutely adore this game, every time i crash now i have to talk myself into starting it up again because it just seems like a futile endeavour at this point.

We are going to continue with optimizing the game. Luckily, it's only a problem on the largest maps.
