Video cards that may not be supported
The following cards/onboard graphics chips have been reported as having problems:

Intel G41
Intel HD4000

Some nVidia chips from 2008/2009 seem to have problems too:
GeForce GTX 280
GeForce 9500 GT

Hi,

Is your graphics card DirectX 10 capable?
Otherwise chances are low that the game will run.
ZosanU Mar 27, 2014 @ 9:24am
My PC DirectX is ver 11. ( I see version in dxdiag )
kubluu Mar 27, 2014 @ 11:44am
What is the error message?

Can you post the dxdiag output?

Hmm, I don't see the video card in the dxdiag output?

Anyways, I think there might be problems with getting the game to run on Intel G41.

"Intel HD 4000, after pressing play the game shows a black screen and the crash report appears."

After searching for a while, I found this thread which may help... the error in the link occurs after some playing time so it is not exactly the same, but I think there may be problems with XNA games and integrated graphics cards in general.

Quote:
"Unfortunately this bug can happen for a variety of reasons, but I'll try and list all solutions to you here.

1. You need to update your video card drivers.
2. There is an issue with laptops that have both a dedicated graphics card as well as onboard. These laptops usually have power management which switches videocards to save power at times, which can causes crashes.

Solutions to fix this can be found here:

http://steamcommunity.com/app/241600/discussions/1/846957366844063122/

3. There is an incompatibility with XNA and certain video cards (Intel HD and nVidia 500m series) that prevents the game from running for extended periods of time in Fullscreen or Windowed mode. Unfortunately the only current solution is to play in the other mode (i.e. if you play in fullscreen, switch to windowed mode and vice versa)."

Any solutions for it not finding the graphics card? I'm getting that error too.

Which error?

Like the one above where it's saying there isn't a graphics card found. I'll try starting the game again and type out the exact wording

"No suitable graphics card found.

Could not find a Direct3D device that supports the XNA Framework HiDef profile.

Verify that a suitable graphics device is installed.

Make sure the desktop is not locked, and that no other application is running in full screen mode.

Avoid running under Remote Desktop or as a Windows service.

Check the display properties to make sure hardware acceleration is set to Full."

I know this laptop isn't the greatest computer in the world, it has handled some fairly graphically intensive things though. Should hopefully be getting a new computer in the next few months, just wanted to play as it looks good.

OK. What is the name of the graphics chipset?
ElenaRoan Sep 7, 2014 @ 9:27pm
How do I find that out? I did double check that the driver was up to date, it was.

I wouldn't be surprised to get a verdict of "I don't know how you got any sort of graphical performance out of THAT" and "see whether the new computer will run it" after I do find the name *chuckle* this was just a little cheapie I got when I abruptly found myself without a computer and it probably shouldn't be able to do half the things I've made it do...
Bedja May 6, 2015 @ 1:49am
Since last update im getting the same msg. "No suitable graphics card found. unable to create the graphics device" - Currently using a AMD Radeon HD 6800 4GB.
