Teladianium bartering bugged?

I just noticed while bartering that people want to give me large amounts of goods for 1 unit of teladianium. For instance, I wanted to buy Energy Cells from a guy and traded me 595 energy cells for 1 teladianium. 1 unit of teladianium costs about 200 credits and 595 energy cells are worth roughly 8000

This some kind of bug in the teladianium data or does the AI just pay extreme amounts for stuff if it can't find it for a long enough period of time?

If its a bug, could anyone know how to mod the data files to fix this? I have no experience with modding the game.

Telad is very rare, most I can trade is 2 units at a time, unless you load a ship up with it and sell ship. To be honest it is mainly usless, you do need some in ome of the plots. Not much of a bug, if you are happy to trade just accept it.

It seems like a fairly significant bug to me and its not just with teladianium. I noticed it with space weed and nostrop oil too when I continued to play more. If you click "Sell" in the bartering system they offer you normal values for your resources in either credits or other resources, however if you click "Buy" they frequently will accept just one unit of a resource for any amount they have to sell. One unit of nostrop oil that costed 50 credits for 350 energy cells? sure!

we it seems you can make some extra money that way. Do not know if related but when I am defending station against attack, if I take out a Q the reward can vary from 30K to 3 mill. It just depends maybe it is a random generated thing. As you get more money 1 billion+ trades and rewards are almost whitout meaning.

Are you trying to barter Teledianium and nostrop oil outside of Teladi space? For the space weed, it is illegal in all but Split space. Bartering for it is slightly risky.
