Does Albion Prelude have Terran Conflict storyline in it?

If I play Albion Prelude will I have access to the same story line as in Terran Conflict, with the addition of the Albion Prelude plots, or does it replace the Terran Conflict storyline with its own so I need to play the two separately to experience both storylines?

They are separate, you will not be able to share savegames between them either.

Your story in Albion Prelude is set somewhat later than Terran Conflict (not sure if there is an exact definitiion of how much time passed) and you are another character who has just begun his or her career.

you will need to play them both seperately
