X3TC not starting
A month ago I was playing no problem, then I took a break to play some other games for awhile. Now I'm wanting to play X3:TC again (about to start the Aldrin plot), and the game won't launch. I click "Play", and nothing happens. Checking the task manager, I can see that "Werfault.exe" is activated for a second, and then both executables are gone.

Any assistance appreciated.

Edit: Win7, verified cache.

Following some advice on the Egosoft forums, I was able to work around the issue by opting back out of the Steam beta I had opted into. As I'd like to both be in the Steam beta and play X3 at leisure, I'm not completely satisfied, but I guess technically this is "fixed."
