Is it worth getting?

I like playing space sims, however some people call called this the, "spread sheet the game." so I have to ask is it worth getting?

Watch through the above CDRDave tutorial videos (at least the first few of them). And perhaps his actual playthough he does. I'd also check out Zemalf's X3TC let's play as he starts out as Humble Merchant and slow plays which gives you a great way to start the game while avoiding getting into fights.

So far the only time I've made and referred to a spreadsheet was for complex construction involving asteroids. I'm not aware if I need to make any more either.

Worth getting or not kind of depends on what you're looking for in a game.
