The return to X3.

The start from X-Rebirth destroyed my feeling for that kind of games totally. I just cant played X3 anymore are any kind of space sims.
I dont know what happened to me...but the release..this..disaster...was destroying my whole fun for this genre. Its really hard to installing X3 again, because there is this feeling that they stole my money for that alpha version of a game....okay, flamed enough - because X3 is GREAT.
I just loving it.
And i hope it will love it again, that i'm able to get a good feeling for it again.

I hope i will get rid of this weird feeling i have...i dont know....eventually its because its not the newest game of the series? I dont know, really not. Eventually its because the start of rebirth annoyed me so much.
You guys know that feeling? I really dont know where it comes from.

But, to be honest, i really try it and i hope i will sink into it one more time...because it was a great, great time. X3 is just great.

Any good mods out there, you can recommend?

I know the feeling .. was pretty harmed too when i got this unfinished/unpolished/badly coded game .. i trashed 50 buck by the window .... Glad to Ego but they will never caucht me again after years of supporting them.
I still play X3 / X3AP with good fun (completed by the beta of Elite cause this will not be a mess).
As a great mod i suggest you to get XRM witch is the really a must have mod.

I really understand ya bro, its...hard...and i say thanks to them for making X3, but bernd lost ALL of my respect for doing that stuff @ gamestar (telling them a lot of guys like that game and its great etc.) - and all the stuff he did at x rebirth.

But yeah. I'm curios if the mod are aviable in german? Actually i look at it and get a overview what it does offer :)

I haven't gotten Rebirth yet - I'm waiting for it to get out of beta. It seems that CERTAIN people are starting to slack off on their beta testing duties, though. ;)

There are some BIG mods out there. DDTC[www.xforum.chaos.net.nz] is another one. It's getting pretty old now but it sure has a ton of sweet, new ships[www.xforum.chaos.net.nz] to play with. Litcube's[code.google.com] is another huge one, though I haven't tried it yet.
