Crash after new game
Whenever I try to start a new game I get a black screen and CTD,I tried validating the steam files,launch it in windowed mode,windows XP mode..administrator...X3 Terran conflict and AP work perfectly...the funny thing is I can start the simulation,but not the campaign,anyone thoughts on this?

I can't start a new game or simulator mission... I'm told it's a codec problem (Haali) but it's proving very difficult to uninstall the thing properly.

Finally tracked down the offending codecs with help from the Egosoft forum, it hasn't got the game running unfortunately... I think they're out of ideas. Looks like I wasted ten quid :(

It's not the codec. I've just installed Plugin manager, bonus pack, hooked 3 scripts through it and it didn't work, so I uninstalled the whole thing, all mods except bonuspack, verified, now I cannot start any story mode thanks to the CTD... Great another complete download at 200kbps
