X2 or X3
Thinking of buying one or the other. Which would you guys say is a good starting point?

I would start with X2, it will make the transition to X3 much easier. Although, keep in mind that even X2 has a steep learning curve and you'll probably be reading lots of community guides/google searches.

But it is by far the easiest to start with.

I just got started with the X series about a week or so ago and I started with X3. Just got past the learning curve 46 hours in ;)

I started with X3 also. There are some great Youtube videos that you should check out. Makes the learning curve not so bad...
