Problems with connecting to Creativerse servers
Hey guys -- we're seeing an increasing number of players having issues with connecting to our servers. Either you are unable to connect at all, or you can connect but are seeing changes you make in the world reset.

If you aren't able to connect to the main screen, the problem is likely related to Steam -- you can check the status of their servers here: http://steamstat.us (mostly affects US players).

If you can get into the main menu but 1) can't connect to a world, 2) you can get into a world but none of it is loading, or 3) if you are seeing your world changes reset, you are probably running a program that is blocking our game from functioning correctly. Likely culprits are an anti-virus program (e.g. Avast, Malwarebytes) or a firewall.

Solution
  1. Add your Steam folder to your anti-virus program's list of exclusions (e.g. instructions for Avast users are here[www.getavast.net]).
  2. Add this site as an exception to any apps blocking HTML pages: http://thereafter.herokuapp.com.
  3. Set Steam to run as an Administrator (Right-click the Steam shortcut > Properties > Compatibility > Select 'Run this program as an administrator').
  4. Ensure you have these ports unblocked:
    • UDP 14000 - 15000
    • UDP 27000 - 27037
    • UDP 4380
    • TCP 27014 - 27050

  5. Quit the game and restart Steam.

One way to test if you have a program running that's preventing you from connecting to our servers is to load this page[thereafter.herokuapp.com] and see if any warning messages pop up. (The page should just go to our sad Pigsy 404 page without any pop up warnings if things are running correctly.)

If you're still having issues, a good way to troubleshoot this is to try the game on a different computer or with a different internet connection, or possibly through a VPN. However, you can also reach out to us and we may be able to help -- email us at support@playfulcorp.com and include your output_log.txt (found in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Creativerse\creativerse_Data\output_log.txt)

I can not go into the game the whole time it worked what happened what I've done wrong ^^
I am sure that I no ports needs to release it because it was the whole time

I have tried logging in with my firewall(s) off hoping that It would allow me to access at least one server, but that hasn't worked either. I have tried logging out of steam and back in again, resetting my wireless router, uninstalling and re-installing both steam and Creativerse, but nothing happens except for eternally "Connecting to servers." and the link just tells me that there are X amount of American servers online, and I apparently can't connect to a single one of them.

Hi, today I went into my world in Creativerse, and appears as world for maintenance. But I access other worlds, just my main not. How do we solve this? I have 111 hours of play, and play every day, I'm looking forward to this. Sorry about my bad english.

I am a new player, about 2 weeks. But I have not once been able to connect to a server.

Hello,
I'd like to know what's wrong with some maps of the game. Me and my girlfriend created some maps, now we just can't play on it.
Every time we try to enter this map, there's some error message display.
I'm really disapointed about it. The game is really really good, and I had no complaint 'till now...
It made me really sad, 'cause we both bought it, and we were playing it everyday... I have 138hours, all spent in this map. We had some huge constructions on it, and we were going to do an YouTube gameplay serie, showing the game and our work. Now we can't. D:
Name of our map: canelinha's world.
Our nicknames: Pelladan (me) and Gabse (my girl).
She tried to contact you through Steam, but didn't succed.
I'm sending you some printscreens of this error and of her post.

Hi, toady I bought & installed Creativerse.

Every time I create a world or try to connect, the game stays open for 8 - 10 seconds.

Then the message:

Server Disconnect - Connection timed out

I uninstalled Steam & Creativerse, same results, any suggestions?

Just bought the game today and i logged in one to a server i created and and to log out to change some of my settings..

now everytime i try to log into any server i get a message that says failed to connect to remote host. my server or others..

i was really looking foward to this game but its not my fire wall and my ports are open....

I deleted all the files from the steam apps folder for the game and i uninstalled the game and re downloded the game and it let me back into my server once before it game me the same message agaain.
