KRUNCH will be available on Steam for Windows and Mac initially with a potential Linux release sometime in the future. We just don't feel right releasing the Linux version as it is right now: missing Native Controller Support, few issues with Steamworks integration, etc. Thanks for your patience!

Bummer... KRUNCH was the first of many games I bought on IGS but I never played it because I only really play games on Steam these days. When I read about the Steam release I really looked forward to finally play this :/

Can't promise it'll happen and if it does, can't commit to when but I can definitively confirm we are looking for a viable solution :)

Thanks for the info! I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Hope you'll release a linux version too.

+1 I actually expressely bought this game because of linux support. Would even be willing to buy it again just for linux.
Really hoping you manage to pull this one off, Joystick support is important, and while native support is obviously preferred, with the right configuration you could even just ship it with something like joy2key in a wrapper. As long as you support it properly the end result will feel like the real thing.
Don't use Joy2Key, use AntiMicro. It's native for Linux and open-source.

So is joy2key?
Joy2Key is only available natively for Windows. You may be able to run it with WINE, but I haven't tried, as AntiMicro more than meets my needs. Joy2Key is also not open source and requires a purchase license, unlike AntiMicro, which is licensed under the GPL. :spacebooze:

I stand corrected. I was not aware of the existence of a rival project to the Windows-only Joy2Key with which I was familiar. :tw:
So I'm guessing it's not coming to Linux. At least I can still install it on Desura, until Desura finally goes under...
