I'll try to tell you without too much of a spoiler - at some point in the game, your character will say that he is going off the grid for a bit. This is the point at which you play TML.
More specifically, on your second visit to Hengsha, you will go to a dock and board a ship. This is where you stop and play TML.
I'm normaly the one that instantly grasps the deeper meaning, I realized that Adam was X when I visited the 1st Limb clinic and read his file. But I'm rather lost here.
