Boss fights were way to easy also, grenade spamming a stunned boss was too easy. I guess it's tough to make fps bosses.
Your video of the first boss is rather amusing. When I first encountered him I tended to die very quickly, almost before I had time to react/get a shot off or formulate any kind of plan. I think I died around 7 times, all in under 5 seconds. I think I finally went back to a prior save and upgraded to the invisibility aug. [See, those spare praxis kits came in handy !!] That way I was able to evade his first attack and start to fight back. I never discovered the little store rooms he couldn't enter until after I'd defeated him !! So I took the more traditional approach of hide behind a concrete block and attack from there.
The second boss was equally frustrating and I didn't defeat her until I went back to a prior save and got the Typhoon upgrade. Those spare kits again !! Then two blast of that and she was history, which was rather anti-climatic really !!
Some of the optional missions did seem a bit dragged out, but overall I did really enjoy the game. Having played through once I now have a feel for what most of the augs do so can concentrate on getting the fun ones first. I can probably make better use of the inventory space too. At times I think I was carrying around 6 weapons but now know I can quite happy manage with mainly using just the combat rifle, handgun and tranq and sniper rifles. I think it is a fascinating game and I do look forward to playing it again.
