Who are you willing to kill?
Who in DX:HR are you willing to kill, and why? Are you an absolute pacifist no matter what? Do you slaughter anything that moves? Or is it death to Belltower but let the [somewhat] innocent live? Or some combination of those?

I take no mercy on anyone that shoots @ me, plain and simple!
Unless having an explicit mindset stating otherwise, I try not to kill ANYBODY. Maybe I'll knock out one or two at most, but killing isn't my thing. I see no reason why brutality should be part of my playstyle, because a stun gun and a silenced pistol work just fine. Although it's fun to shoot people...
The first time I went through the game, I was sort of "shoot at anything that shoots at me." Then I started taking time and actually reading all the emails and paying attention to the environment, absorbing the different issues, and I found it was really hard to kill anybody after that. Although I go a bit nuts on the Belltower unit attacking Malik.
I started a new game save on easy with the intention to kill everything that the game would let me kill.
I like go stealth, which usually means letting people live. However I do use the silenced pistol, and sometimes it is WAY to hard to resist walking around with an automated turret...

I never use the kill takedown though. And I don't kill civies.
First playthrough was entirly stealth based, knocking guards with my fist or stun gun. Focused my praxis points into stealth related perks such as cloak, smart vision ect, but most of it went into hacking, going through peoples emails, opening safe walls ect. Always used an alternate route around a complex, taking the time to really explore the enviroment and was also a silver tongue, persauding someone to not kill them selves or sympathise for them.

Second playthrough felt morally difficult but fun. Focused on brute strength, didn't have time to sneak around, killed any one who got a shot at me. Focused praxis points into armor perks, aiming stability, typhoon perks and strength whilst upgrading my arsenal with enhancements. Most of my actions ended up with someone dying, BUT, I didn't kill civillians. You begin to see people think of you as a killing machine.
Mercs and gangbangers were on my kill list. Everyone else I'd only go non-leathal if I had no other options.
My first playthrough was mostly stealth, with lots of melee, tranqing, and stun darts (big fan of the old splinter cells). I would almost always clear a room before I moved on, though. I didn't really use many grenades though, maybe 10 throughout the entire campaign, including boss fights. Occasionally I would use lethal force if I had no option or if I thought my target deserved it (I went crazy on the guys who killed Malik)
On my second playthrough right now, playing on hardest settings trying to get the "Foxiest of Hounds" and "Pacifist" achievements in one run. This time I've sneaked by more people than I've subdued. So far, so good.
I never killed any cops, but i sure would stun / tranq them.

I never killed any civilians although I think on the final mission one of the crazed plant workers got killed by a proximity mine.

I never killed any MCBs or Harversters (fellow augs) but I killed 2 or 3 DRB when I had to (stunned one dude and he fell into an electrified sewer canal).

Belltower and spec ops were pretty much open season. Line em up w/ the silenced pistol for the headshot....so satisfying. It was funny, the belltower guard commander w/ the Australian accent (Khan), I stunned him in the first battle w/ him at the Alice Garden pods, then stunned him again in upper hengsha in his office and found a thousand credits on him. Later, when I went back to Hensha and was sneaking around the port, his team had set up inside one of the port warehouses, this time though I put that red dot on his head and sniped him w/ my 10mm through one of the skylights on the roof and killed him. He had another 1000 credits on him though. I guess the game rewards you for letting some of the named soldiers survive.
Generally, no innocent. I don't even perform takedown towards any policeman or civilian and I avoid killing as much as possible. I only kill under 3 circumstances, boss fight(no choice), Belltower soldiers who murder the people in Alice Garden indiscriminately(retribution), Belltower soldiers attack Malik(can never forgive myself if I let Malik die on me at that time).
Mostly, I follow a "no kill" policy, except when I am forced to do so, or if it is to expedite the achievement of a high-stakes goal. I take a kind of perverse pleasure in letting Khan live in all of my encounters with him (though he does seem to deserve to die for his actions) because in my imagination I bet it frustrates him to no end and makes him seem incompetent to his employers.
