Having issues getting past the very begining of the game.

I bought this on the winter sale this year and having already beaten it on xbox, now when I try and play the game I can watch the intro, look around the office, but whenever I go through the part where adam is guided by the girl it BSOD's on me. Well more specifically it locks up and I have to hard power my computer. Anyone else have this issue or a workaround?

I'm running a GTX 670, Intel core 2 quad 2.4, 8gb ram on win7.

There can be alot of reasons, did this happen in other games too?

DX11? Turn that off and see if it changes anything.

Have you done the usual check list?
1) Varify Integrity of Game Cache
2) Update video drivers
3) run dxdiag

I've done 1, 2, and why run dxdiag? No problems posted (message if you want the readout), I'm going to try and run it in DX9 mode though the GTX 670 is a DX11 card just to see if that solves anything. The only other game I have issues with that also crashes and system locks is Red Orchastra 2.
